Overview
This site is hosted by us and was designed and developed by us for an individual user who required a photo and video archive.

The system stores a single image at full size and all other required images and thumbnails are dynamically generated from the that one image as and when required. This stops the need to store more than one image of the same photo on the site, so reducing disk space and any pre-processing time before upload.

Information about each photo can also be added (photo cataloging) once photos have been cataloged you can use the photo search option to retieve all photos that match the search data you input. All photos have a copyright automatically added to them as well as a watermark. where as the copyright can not be removed, the water mark can be if a visitor to the site registers using the online registration system.

The site can also read selected EXIT data from digital photos if this is present. The site also has what we call a 'Video Jukebox' this is a Flash application developed by us that can be embeded in to any web page and that can select and play back any of the video clips that are currently stored in the archive. As an example of its use the 'Video Jukebox' can be seen embeded at the bottom of the left hand column of the Spiralarm web site.
